Study theatre, drama and performing culture on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, one of the most unique places of ancient Greek and Roman heritage.

The PROFESSIONAL SESSION 1-23 July (2008) includes lectures by distinquished tutors, practical workshops in voice and movement, discussions, video projections, free tickets to the International Festival, visit to the ancient monuments and watcing open rehearsals of the workshop production.

The INTERNATIONAL MEETING AND FESTIVAL OF THEATRE SCHOOLS ( 13-23 July) is an exemplary expression of the priority given by UNESCO to artistic education.

The participating schools perfom a twenty minute scene from any anciet Greek play, rehearsed in their home country and perform at the Pafos Ancient Odeon on 22 July.
As from this year the Festival is competitive and the best three performances will be awarded three prizes of 2000, 1000 and 800 EURO respectively.

The organisers cover board and lodging for three persons (two performers and one tutor), but not air-ticket.
